Privacy Policy — NDReady

The short version

NDReady helps you dial in your action camera settings before you ride. The app reads light from a photo you take, saves session notes locally on your device, and uses RevenueCat to manage your subscription. We don't collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information.

What we collect and why

Camera & photos Used on-device only to read light levels. Photos are never stored or transmitted.

Location Approximate GPS saved with your scan sessions so you can find spots again. Never shared. Permission is optional — sessions save without it if you decline.

Subscription status Managed by RevenueCat. Linked to an anonymous App User ID, not your identity. Used to validate your subscription and restore purchases.

Session history Scan results, ND filter recipes, and spot notes are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We cannot access this data.

What we don't collect

We do not collect your name, email address, Apple ID, or any other personally identifying information. We do not run analytics, crash reporting, or ad tracking. We do not sell your data.

RevenueCat

NDReady uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat verifies App Store receipts, processes subscription purchases, restores previous purchases, and syncs subscription status across your devices signed into the same Apple ID.

This information is linked to an anonymous App User ID generated by the RevenueCat SDK — not to your name or Apple account. RevenueCat does not have access to any personal information.

Data stored on your device

All scan sessions, spot history, and profile settings are stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData. This data does not leave your device and is not accessible to us. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

Location data

NDReady requests location permission to save approximate GPS coordinates with your scan sessions. This data is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit, share, or have access to your location data.

Location permission is optional. If you decline, sessions are saved without coordinates and all other features work normally.

Children

NDReady is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
